The flirtatious big spender made friends as well as jealous enemies among the fellow residents, staff and visitors, including Nele's mother Mechthild Fehrenbach, who fits the description of a woman seen at a suspicious time, and soiled her dress. 第5話SkrupellosA driverless boat on the Rhine initially alerts the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), as traces of blood are found on the deck. However, the supposed blood turns out to be red anti-rust paint, and so the case falls under the jurisdiction of the "WaPo" (Police and Police). Jäger quickly realizes something is amiss and, together with his colleagues Arda Turan and Frank van Dijk, sets out to find the owner. However, Duisburg businessman Niklas Brandt, who owns the boat, has disappeared, and his wife's behavior is rather strange. The "WaPo" colleagues want to take a closer look. An observation confirms their suspicions: The man has been kidnapped. But who is behind it? The "WaPo" discovers that Niklas Brandt has made a powerful enemy. However, there are even more people in his circle who are playing a dirty game. The situation is serious, and a race against time begins for Jäger and Arda. Will they manage to free Brandt from his kidnappers in time? And at home, Jäger has another problem to deal with: his daughter Nadine has separated from her boyfriend and is moving in with him along with her granddaughter Mira.
