The team is warned of imminent snow and gangs of armed rebels, causing Brady to abandon the trek. The team departs to the town of Khoreg at the base of the Pamir mountains. Their route along the border of Afghanistan is disastrous as one car breaks down after another, pushing Megan's mind to the brink.
