- Jeremey2025年5月22日Two brothers. One car. Roughly 300 apocalypse scenarios and a monster-of-the-week format that lasted longer than most religions. Supernatural started off simple: road trip, salt rounds, daddy issues. By season 4? We’re raising angels, breaking seals, and emotionally bonding with a trench coat. Sam’s the book-smart one who somehow gets possessed by everything but a vending machine. Dean, 200 pounds of grief, sarcasm, and repressed trauma baked into a body that’s definitely not a dad bod — unless your dad is a Navy SEAL with (ab)andonment issues and cheekbones that could cut glass. Castiel? A literal angel of the Lord who showed up, died, came back, got brainwashed, went full God-mode, and still somehow didn’t understand basic human emotion — but could wreck you with a deadpan “I learned that from the pizza guy.” Crowley? King of Hell, snark dealer, accent sharp enough to shave with, and easily one of the best “villains” who just became family by sheer stubborn charisma. The plot? Unstable. The tone? Consistently chaotic. The pain? Delicious. Characters die, come back, die again, betray each other, come back again, hug it out, then accidentally start another war with Heaven. They survived literally everything except COVID protocols — because even Supernatural couldn’t defeat a production shutdown. I got the anti-possession tattoo from the show — not to fight demons, but to remind myself that my ex couldn’t control me anymore. Because that’s what this show does: takes your pain, wraps it in holy oil, and lights it on fire with feelings. Also? Never forget the pie. Dean asked for it like 37 times a season and almost never got it. That’s the real supernatural injustice. ★★★★★ – Saving people, hunting things, and emotionally wrecking everyone who thought it was “just a CW show.” Oh, and... don’t lose your shoe.
- Dario Tibay2026年6月13日Watching Supernatural years after its original run gave me the convenient but dangerous version of the experience: whole seasons ready to binge, one cliffhanger sliding too easily into the next. What starts as two brothers hunting ghosts, demons, monsters, and urban legends gradually becomes a sprawling mythology about heaven, hell, family, free will, sacrifice, and the many poor decisions people make when they cannot let go. The early seasons are still the strongest in atmosphere: ugly motels, back roads, newspaper research, salt circles, graveyards, and classic rock cutting through the dark. Later seasons get bigger, stranger, messier, and more self-aware, but the series keeps returning to the same durable engine — Sam and Dean Winchester in the Impala, carrying more grief than any two men should reasonably be allowed to transport across state lines. Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki carry the show through its rough patches, while Misha Collins’ Castiel gives it one of its most important emotional expansions. The supporting cast is full of memorable figures: Bobby, Crowley, Charlie, Jack, Rowena, Jody, Donna, and many more who deserved longer stays. It is too long, sometimes repetitive, and occasionally maddening. But it has personality, texture, music, humour, and a battered heart. After enough episodes, it feels less like watching a show and more like checking in on old friends who are almost certainly making things worse.
- Oʂɯαʅԃσ Rσყҽƚƚ2025年3月13日Starting off I was immediately hooked onto the show. Mainly because of Sam and Dean being so much fun to watch. Jensen and Jared's chemistry on the show is so good. Other supporting characters too like Bobby, Castiel, and others also help the show. The show itself may be a little corny at times, but that's the fun of it. Yes the show may have gotten mediocre to down right ridiculous after season 5, however the first 5 seasons are entertaining, funny, emotional, and captivating. As weak as the later seasons may be, Jensen, Jared, and Misha are the reason why people still love the show. Even when the writing was at it's weakest the cast always delivered.
- Kylacham2025年6月15日The first five seasons were five-star fun and adventure, however each following season kept trying to up the ante with a newer, bigger Big Bad which would consume more and more of each season's arc, when the best and most memorable episodes were always the standalone monster/ghost hunts.
- DarlingInThePlexx2025年6月12日What is up with this show?? I was hooked from the start—ride or die Winchester-style. (What do we even call ourselves? Hunters? Salt circle enthusiasts?) Whatever the fandom label is, I was in. This show goes through it—angels, demons, monsters, Leviathans, meta episodes, fanfiction episodes, Scooby-Doo crossovers—chef’s kiss. Yes, it plateaus. Yes, it sometimes wanders into cheeseland. But when it’s good? It’s so good. The writing, the humor, the deep lore, the feels… I mean, come on. It had everything: emotional brother moments, tragic sacrifices, ancient prophecies, and pie. Don’t forget the pie. You love the characters (especially when they’re dying and coming back and dying again). It keeps you tuning in, yelling at your screen, crying at the Impala, and humming Carry On Wayward Son with too much emotional damage. Also… WinCEST. If you know, you know. And if you don’t… maybe don’t Google it at work. ⸻ Tags: 👬 Brotherly Trauma Bonding, 🧂 Salt Circles & Sass, 😭 Crying Over a Car, 🔥 Dean Girl or Sam Girl or Cas Cultist, 🕊️ Heaven, Hell & Everything In Between, 🧛♂️ Monster-of-the-Week Perfection, 📺 Meta Madness, 🤐 Forbidden Fanfic Energy, 🎶 The Road So Far…
