When his old boss visits one day, retired secret agent Alan Stewart agrees to a simple job: taking a package to Iceland. Within hours of arriving, Stewart is on a remote road with a corpse at his feet and the job doesn't seem so simple.

    The Messenger BoyAlan Stewart is blackmailed into picking up and dropping off a package in Iceland. He is ordered not open it but when he reaches the rendezvous it's a trap. Instead of passing on the parcel he and his girlfriend Elin go it alone.

    Sixteen Rivers to CrossStewart opens the package and discovers a circuit board for an American missile. Taggert agrees to send Jack Case to get the package. Stewarts is tracked by both US and USSR agents. Stewart attempts the swap but Kennikin captures him.
  • The Deception Operation

    The Deception OperationKennikin wants the circuit board. Stewart gets time when he tells him they both work for Slade. The circuit board is passed to a US contact and it's not American. Slade admits he's Soviet agent and a trade is arranged with Kennikin.
