- Jim Fox2026年1月31日I truly enjoyed this Filipino series, but it's NOT a BL. The series has more to do about gay acceptance in a high school setting. Apparently, the volleyball club in the Phillipines is like the drama club in the US - a haven for gay kids and the unofficial gay club. The series got the 4th star by making me relate to and understand the struggle of the strong, transgender character, when previously I struggled with relating to trans characters since it's so outside of my experience. The messy main relationship of a gay kid falling in love with his straight best friend is so completely relatable to gay people that it was like a knife in the heart, and his unrequited feelings reemerging later you both want to slap him to wake him up while at the same time easily understanding how that happened. This is not a BL romance, however, as the only couple that is developed in the series is a straight one. But, that being said, it is well worth the watch! It will stick with you and possibly change you.
