They handle 'unorthodox' cases of people unlikely to get their due through regular channels and legal procedures. That often involves stinging or otherwise scamming criminals. Nate's team is altered at times, and his professional as well as personal past repeatedly seems to catch up.

第12話The Zanzibar Marketplace JobNate's ex Maggie Collins is arrested as the sole suspect of the theft of a Fabergé egg, which was sold for $9,000,000 to US embassy economic liaison Alexander Lundy. The case is brought to them by Nate's archenemy Jim Sterling, because the egg was insured with his firm IS. The team soon works out Alexander plays a dirty part in the game, but scary surprises follow for them, Sterling and Lundy.
