Hatten rundt was a series of improvisational theatre programmes that aired on DR1 in the autumn of 1997, with Søren Østergaard, Niels Olsen, Søren Hauch-Fausbøll, Torben Zeller and Claus Bue on stage. The audience at Kaleidoskop in Copenhagen threw small notes with scene titles into a hat that was passed around. A random note was then drawn from the hat, and the actors created a scene from it. Gunner Frøberg was in charge of the execution, among other things, by asking them to sing opera or musical numbers, recite poems, give lectures, do voices for others on stage, be authors or act out an old foreign film that no one has ever seen.
