Gordon Brittas runs Whitbury Newtown Leisure Centre but he's not the brightest of people and has trouble working out what is going on!
His wife seems to think he loves the centre more than her, which he does! Everyday something happens and as usual Gordon always makes it go wrong. His staff think he is very stupid and even though he tries to help he always makes it worser.
Julie, his secretary thinks that Gordon does the wrong things at the wrong time. Laura, who works as Gordon's assistant keeps telling him that he must try and do things right for a change. Tim and Gavin who are best friends seem to have a problem. It seems that when Gordon catches Gavin doing something Tim always thinks that he is doing something without telling him. Carole, the receptionest keeps having to live at the centre because she has no where else to go. Her son Ben is in fact living in a draw while she is at work. Linda, who works with the
