Datebaazi is an arranged-dating experiment which aims to bridge the generation gap in our society with respect to the idea of Dating. The show emphasizes on different people coming from different backgrounds having different preferences for their partners and how the Family plays a pivotal role in the decision making. The families are the ones who pick a suitable Date for the Single and they go out on a small date. Towards the end, they decide whether to take it forward or not also highlighting the fact that whether Family was successful in making the right pick or not. The Format is extremely Simple. The Single arrives with his/her Family. The Single is straightaway sent to a separate isolated room but before departing he tells his preferences to his family members. The Family members are shown the profiles of 8 Eligible Prospects and after going through all the profiles, they shortlist 3 profiles for Interaction. The Single watches the entire shortlisting process from his room. Next, the Family interacts with the 3 shortlisted Prospects. The Single watches the entire interaction and writes down his questions as well, that the family is meant to ask the prospects. Post this, the Family chooses that One Lucky Prospect who goes out on a small date with the Single. The Date starts with a small Meet and Greet Segment. Moving forward, they play a Dating Game where they get to know each other more. The Date ends with both of them enjoying a delicious meal. While the date goes on, the Family is anticipating the outcome of the date. When the date completes, the Single finally meets the family and we get to know whether the Date was Successful or Not and whether the Family succeeded in picking the right date for the Single. Simple. Entertaining. Experimental.
