Follows the wheelchair-bound pensioner Hintz, who lives with his roommate Trixie and their three children in a joint venture in an apartment in an old building in Berlin. But when his sister Elfie shows up with her new boyfriend, the tense calm is over: He turns out to be a real esoteric, which quickly leads to conflicts between the two stubborn heads. Trixie notices that the apartment is quickly too full and moves out with sackcloth and baggage. But Hintz is soon standing in front of her door too.
