- Tyler S2026年3月6日Somehow slipped through the cracks and is never really talked about, surprising when you look at the stacked cast including a small part from Will Smith in his first feature film. A solid look at the lives of some runaway teens/young adults in L.A. during the early 90's. Dermot Mulroney and Sean Astin are really good here, they are the heart and soul of the film. Always happy to see Kyle MacLachlan pop up in anything as well, playing a seedy drug dealer, I don't think I've ever seen him as vile and evil as this before. Director Marc Rocco has a keen sense of time and place, we really feel like we are with these characters throughout. My main issues lie with soundtrack choices, a little to much Melissa Etheridge (some of those songs simply felt out of place) and with the realistic nature of the narrative there was some silly choices here and there that pulled me out. Doesn't have the realistic grit that would come out of Larry Clarks Kids three years later but is still a good film and well worth seeking out. 👍👍 7/10
