監督:Michael Shanks長年連れ添ってきたミュージシャン志望のティムと小学校教師のミリーは、住み慣れた都会を離れて田舎の一軒家に移り住む。しかし森で道に迷い、不気味な地下洞窟で一夜を過ごしたことをきっかけに、ふたりの穏やかな日常は暗転。ティムは突然意識が混濁して身体が暴走する不可解な症状に悩まされるようになり、気持ちがすれ違いがちだったミリーとの関係も揺らいでしまう。やがて、ミリーの身にも同じような症状が起こりはじめる。見えない磁力に引き寄せられるかのように互いを求めあうその現象は、ふたりが育んできた愛と人生のすべてを侵蝕していく。

It’s a must see for any film fan that enjoys something different in a genre of horror. It’s not your typical scary movie. It’s a good fcking Movie…….😂

I mean I can imagine how facially and whatnot two people combined might look, but what in the name of jeezo is happening with the bits and bobs? Is it a total train wreck down there? I've been thinking about this for weeks now. The makers of this movie have a lot of questions to answer.

It’s both terrifying and oddly romantic. On one hand, the film captures the universal fear of engulfment: that losing yourself in love might mean losing yourself. Watching the characters peel away pieces of their independence (sometimes literally) makes you laugh nervously while also muttering, “Okay but… same.” And yet—beyond the absurd bodily fusion, there’s something divine about it. Together dares to show us love not as two halves completing a whole, but as a holy abomination: a single entity with too many eyes and just one beating heart. The devotion is so deep it becomes both monstrous and sacred, grotesque yet oddly beautiful. The humor works because it’s self-aware. The film knows how absurd love can feel—one minute you’re terrified of being swallowed alive, the next you’re worshipping your partner like a small household god. In short, Together is not your standard rom-com. It’s a love story for anyone who’s ever worried about losing their independence in a relationship—and then secretly wished for it anyway.

The strongest element is the lead duo, whose chemistry works just as well in moments of tenderness as it does in moments of revulsion. Their fluid shifts from warmth to frustration give the story real emotional depth. There’s also a great deal of satisfaction in seeing body horror enjoying a kind of renaissance - here the effects are vivid, meticulously crafted, and gut-twisting in exactly the way they should be. A pinch of black comedy completes the picture, surfacing precisely when it’s most effective. The result is a confident, well-made film that goes down easily, despite being deliberately and enthusiastically gross.
