The characters seem a bit too bland and difficult to root for (or believe - Kevin Pollack as a “tough guy”?) but there are so many you easily lose track of who is who, and how they fit into this puzzle. Kevin Spacey is the centerpeice, and they keep him in enough scenes to keep you from fading off. The twist at the end is satisfying, if not boilerplate but it’s by no means painful to watch.

Love them busting each other’s balls in the cell afterwards. Kevin Pollak has all the best lines. And it’s still a satisfying watch even when you know all of the reveals. Also, disn’t realize until tonight that the detective working with the police sketch artist was Giancarlo Esposito.
