- eif9992025年3月3日A bit too much of a slow burn for what it is, but excellent storytelling. it’s clear we’re supposed to judge harshly a man in a loveless marriage to a pretty, nice but inattentive woman. He meets a smoke show on the bus home and is quickly in love. Things get complicated when he finds out his new hot girlfriend has a kid that is cool with murder. Never has a movie poster been so accurate. Beautifully shot. I liked the Christmas time shots of the city life in Japan. Maybe the pitch for this movie was Brief Encounter meets the The Bad Seed.
