The Outfit coasts on the considerable chemistry of Robert Duvall and Joe Don Baker; its charms are that of the ``hangout movie.'' The plot and the villains are serviceable but no more. It's a must-watch for fans of Duvall, though: This was one of his early lead roles on the big screen, and he absolutely nailed it.
