- Daniel Gustavsson2024年10月11日Absolutely shocking sequel. It almost seems like they tried to ruin the franchise as much as possible. Despite that, this movie is so "out there" that it has entertainment value. And the post-credit ending actually added some extra points for me. Not because the ending was good (it's not, it truly ruins the first movie) but because now I really want to see a third movie!
- dughlasu2025年2月15日The underlying idea is good. However, why on earth would a man who has lived some 14,000 years or more choose to try and hide in a 21st century USA in the era of the internet????? If a man wanted to remain hidden, there are many better parts of the world to do so. Facial recognition software, biometric software etc. Employers and civil service departments want definitive proof of identity, including photo ID and possibly fingerprints, The only reason this is made for a US audience is because of america's obsession with the cultural phenomenon of an 'american jesus' and what that is supposed to mean. The teenage college kid side of this unfortunately drags that acting standard down a bit. I watched it to the end purely because of the underlying concepts.

This movie was so very disappointing; it did not build from the original movie, it left a plot hole on what happened with the students, they didn't actually give any conclusion, they skipped over any kind of explanation and did their best to make it look like there might be a movie to follow this one. If there is, I have no intention of looking for it due to the poor structure of this movie. This movie is such a letdown considering I very much enjoyed the first.
