- TomVader2025年9月8日If you take this movie as it is, and don't think about it too much, it's a good movie. There's lots of action, sword fights, guns, cannons, explosions, fire, enough of a story to have a reason for the action, some pretty amazing scenery, some humor, and even Ninja's show up for some reason. It starts to lose some luster when you start to think about how ridiculous the premise is. It's fun, but don't take it too seriously.

- Shaun Firth2025年4月12日My favorite Tom Cruise film. Ken Watanabe and Timothy Spall stand out in this Lush historical epic. Billy Connolly dies too soon, but Cruise does an admirable job as a transplanted civil war hero, drowning in whiskey and guilt. The movie is beautiful and exciting, and while I don’t know how accurate it is historically, it is a tour of feudal Japan at a time when past and future were violently colliding. It made me wish I could visit the islands when they were all lush green and peaceful, before the atom bomb, Sony and Toyota dragged them into the future.
