The film tells the love story of a poor painter and a rich young girl. Metin cannot hold down any job for long. To pay his rent to his landlord, he eventually starts painting and selling his artwork. One day, he meets a girl named Filiz. Filiz is a young and beautiful girl from a wealthy family. However, due to Metin's negative view of the wealthy, he introduces himself as a poor servant. Filiz invites Metin to her home, claiming that the woman she works for is looking for a painter. The two grow emotionally close over time.
