- Jordan Jones3日前Jodie Foster needs to direct more movies she really knows how to convey great storytelling with great acting to compliment it....The Beaver to me felt very well done & structured!!!! However its not the type of film I'll watch often, but it doesn't diminish my thoughts on it and whatever film Jodie Foster ends up directing next, I'll be there watching day 01
- ርልዪረ2025年2月1日It's always nice to see a film that celebrates and humanises fathers rather than denigrate and patronise them which 9 out of 10 times is the route Hollywood goes down, so I really respect this film. Mel Gibson is on form as always, and Jodie Foster makes a really superb directorial debut. The casting all round is great, the story is great, and the whole ensemble (cast and crew), in my opinion, totally pull it off. A fantastic little gem of a film.
