- Emily Downer2025年9月15日This is what I mean when I say “RomComs are so back!” The Baltimorons was a genuine surprise. It felt really real, and the connection was unlikely but worked so well. It’s different, new, and although hilarious and romantic, it’s also rooted in darkness. It’s about saying “yes, and?” to life situations, not just on an improv stage. Michael Strassner as “Cliff” was the standout! A Baltimore comic in the movie and real life - you could feel his familiarity with the improv world. Hilarious, charming, and layered. Liz Larsen as “Didi” was incredible. Honorable mention to her perfectly blown out hair. I felt this very real connection between them. I loved that they helped each other face their fears (ex husband/improv). Watching them tackle each scene together was hilarious - I never knew what was coming next. Jay Duplass is a genius and I hope to see more films like this from him! A line that will stay with me: “Belt broke and I was holding a little holiday weight.” Funny but deep? I don’t know how to feel about it.
- fuse1872026年2月8日This is a simple, unique, and magnificent film. The story revolves around two individuals confronting their own issues and demons. The one hour and forty-one minute runtime flies by as the story develops, peppering the audience with drama balanced by comedy while taking the audience on a tour of Baltimore. 10/10
- yae52025年11月4日We weren’t expecting much from this film…basically we decided on it because it reminded us of when what happened to the star happened to me…(the toothache part anyway)…and in a nutshell it blew us away with its small indie vibe…and its big, fun and funny heart…the stars aren’t “names”, but if this movie doesn’t change that, then Hollywood is more messed up than the news wants us to think it is…me and the mrs have been married since 1985 and we both agreed it’s a great date movie…even for us
- Kevin Ward2025年12月18日Didn’t know much about this other than it was directed by Jay Duplass. That, along with the title, had me expecting goofball indie comedy. And it sort of is, but it’s much more tender and sweeter (in addition to being an excellent Christmas movie). Liz Larsen and Michael Strassner have great chemistry together. Larsen’s Didi is immune to Cliff’s (Strassner) immature charms at first, but softens as their night takes unexpected turns. Might put this into an annual Christmas watch rotation along with The Holdovers.
- cultfilmliker2025年9月16日Joe Flacco joke destroyed me. Needed a killer one about Ray Lewis tho lol happy NFL season! Lovely film! A nice Christmas watch!! I have to get a crown at 8 on Thursday! How timely! “You promised no more alcohol, no more comedy shows” 🤣 Didn’t know that being sober made you seek validation more but uhhh yeah that checks out I know I’m not supposed to want to kms but I didn’t realize I was supposed to not WANT to DRINK… How do I get to that level. Someone please be my armchair therapist Thank god for the Duplass brothers. *knocks on wood* (please don’t get cancelled) So glad Jeff Hiller got the Emmy for Somebody Somewhere !!! So close to being one day one night that I added it to the list anyways! Watched at Warren Regal 21
