シカゴ行きの列車で目覚めた陸軍兵コルターは、見知らぬ女性から親しげに話しかけられて当惑するが直後、列車では大爆発が。意識を取り戻したコルターは軍の研究室に。彼は時間をさかのぼり、乗客全員が死亡した列車爆破事件の発生直前8分間、ある犠牲者の意識内にいた。ある乗客の意識を通じて犯人を見つけて事前に防ぐというミッションの一環のため、コルターはその8分間を何度も繰り返して体験し、事件の全容に近づいていく。

Such a smart, thrilling sci-fi that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Jake Gyllenhaal is great, and the time-loop idea is used in a way that’s tense, clever, and surprisingly emotional. Every repeat of the mission adds something new, so it never feels repetitive. Fast-paced, gripping, and with just the right amount of heart, it’s a movie that sticks with you long after it ends.
