With nothing but a dream to reach for, Maggie Mae Miller makes every sacrifice she must in order to move ever forward to achieve Max's ultimate goal of someday becoming a rock star. However, when the light of the dream fades away from her son's eyes and he slips into the world she determined so long ago to leave behind forever, Maggie must now fight even him to see that all she has believed in doesn't end in a nightmare of another self destructing pursuit.
