After a string of dull, boring, long range shooting of even duller bad guys and organisations, the shift in the previous couple of films suggested a positive leap forward. Grittier, more action, something with substance. Then someone clearly decided to bin all of that work, and go Rogue to create an Oceans 11/American Pie/Lethal Weapon/Kill Bill/Hangover/James Bond combo with a soundtrack right out of a cheesy buddy cop comedy. As you can appreciate, it’s an absolute steamer.
