監督:Chris Wedge小さな田舎町で、皿洗いロボットの一家に生まれた男の子ロドニー。中古部品で作られていた彼はある日、偉大な発明家ビッグウェルド博士の“外見が何で作られていても、誰もが輝くことができる”という言葉に勇気と希望を抱く。やがて発明好きな青年へと成長したロドニーは、自分の発明品を手に、ビッグウェルド博士に会うため大都会“ロボット・シティ”へと向かった。しかし博士が社長を務める会社で門前払いにされたロドニーは、博士の姿がどこにも見当たらないことに疑問を抱く。その一方で、彼は街で知り合った愉快な中古ロボットの集団“ラスティーズ”の面々と仲良くなっていった。そんな中、彼は中古ロボットを一掃しようとする野心家の新型ロボット、ラチェットが恐ろしい計画を進めていることを知る。

From the very first scene where Mr and Mrs Copperbottom make a baby in front of the audience, the jokes rarely miss. It is a laugh-a-minute comedy with a great cast and a great message: Follow your dreams, it doesn't matter who you are or where you came from - don't let anyone stand in your way. Robin Williams killed it as always, as Fender, and you will always think of Aunt Fanny at inappropriate times. There is plenty of social commentary that holds true today, such as the greed of big corporations and the genius inventors who go unappreciated The Animation by Blue Sky holds up even in 2026, and while it seems the film never got a 4K release, you will be be pleased with 1080P regardless. In a universe where Pixar never existed, this film would've broken records at the box office The ending isn't incredible and the jokes run out of steam a little after the first half, but if you can forgive the writers for sticking to the film's age certificate then there is nothing to complain about.. Kids will love this, and parents will be both enraged and delighted by the jokes directed at them Easy 4.5 stars, but closer to 4.8 - I highly recommend watching this film before you're too old to appreciate this occasionally crude, but timeless comedy.

- SIX6IXSIX2025年8月25日Childhood favorite of mine, the Animation in this movie is wayyy ahead of its time, comparing this to new animation and CGI you can see where we’ve gone backwards, great voice acting, super funny. Give it a watch you won’t regret.
- viktorsmi2025年10月12日An unrerrated classic for sure. People who complain about the plot probably expect Citizen Kane. As far as family movies go, it's by the numbers, but there are no blatant lapses in logic and each character's actions are justified. It's basically as much as you can ask from a movie like this. The movie knows where to slow down. Animation is spectacular to this day. A lot of jokes for the adults in the audience. Voice acting is great in general with late Robin Williams absolutely hitting it out of the park.
