Let’s just remix those and put them back in!’ Laser hallway, shibuya crossing, they’re here!’ ‘Who cares if Michele Rodriguez died in the first film? Put her back in!’ Sienna Guillroy is back as Jill Valentine, Weskers back. They introduce Ada Wong, Barry Burton and Leon Kennedy. Fan favorites! Feels like a clip show and memberberries. Still some stupid fun to be had but there is NOTHING new here! Fifth movie in the franchise- maybe it’s my fault for expecting something different.
- George2026年6月26日By the fifth movie, I don’t have much left to say. Zombies and horror are basically an afterthought now. It’s just nonstop over the top action & gun fights. Story didn’t really move forward all that much. Leon S. Kennedy finally shows up, and as my favorite Resident Evil character, I kinda wish he didn’t. This series doesn’t do him justice at all. Plot holes, plot armor, and the same song and dance as.

Resident Evil: Retribution (or anything else in the saga, for that matter) is no exception. No matter how much you want this to be Event Horizon (1997), it just ain't.
