- Jure2026年1月4日Not a masterpiece for sure, but a very important film that shows the history of Palestine before Israel was founded. The people there already foresaw what was going to happen to them and revolted against it, albeit unsuccessfully. So many parallels between how the British imperial forces behaved back then and how the IDF behave today.

The story tries to weave different characters together but the character development itself becomes too long and not very spectacular. A good watch nonetheless.
- Stephen Pate2026年1月19日Palestine 36 is a riveting movie despite the anti-Jewish bias. The Partition obviously was a deeply wrenching experience for Palestinians although the movie doesn’t portray the reality that Jews and Arabs lived in the area in relative peace to centuries. The movie also glosses on over the reason Polish and Czech Jews were moving to the Middle East. Still worth watching to experience the Palestinian side of history.
