Suspended in a limbo and plagued by questions without answers, a married couple who lost their son, the wife and son of a missing man, and a young woman whose father disappeared, all talk to their absent loved ones in intimate letters, while going about their mundane activities. As the different stories unfold and at times intermingle, what emerges is an almost unbearable sense of uncertainty, shared by all three families.
