Just kind of wish Soderbergh had directed this and maybe held off on relinquishing directing duties until Ocean’s Nine and Ocean’s Ten. I’ll still cross my fingers and hope those get made at some point. Can’t have enough star studded heist movies in my opinion.
- Zokkiie2026年2月28日It’s a mixed bag. Totally lacks the energy and swagger of the original films — the vibe just isn’t there. The cast is fun, and the heist itself is clever enough to keep things moving, but it never really hits any big highs. The set pieces are clean and there are a few genuinely funny moments, though some characters barely get a chance to do much. It’s satisfying enough by the end, but nothing that sticks with you afterward. All told, it’s a perfectly decent heist movie — light, easy to watch, and enjoyable if you’re just looking for something fun without any fireworks.

- Gabriel Ruas Santos Rocha (read below)2025年9月5日A very entertaining Saturday afternoon movie that tries to stay in line with the other Ocean’s flicks but skids a bit on the road to success. Still, this group of women works well together and the chemistry between Blanchett and Bullock is really enjoyable. There are hints at a sequel, perhaps blended with the rest of the Oceans, that to me sounds like it could be extremely funny, in a chaotic way. For now enjoy the 8 you’ll have a good time!

- Mister Arn2024年10月12日Ocean's 8 has its moments, but they are very few. It might have been better if just took the original Soderbergh movie and changed the characters to women with the necessary corrections to the backstories.
