It feels grounded and sincere in a way you don’t see that often anymore—no unnecessary spectacle, just a story told with confidence. What really stands out is Joseph Fiennes—he absolutely carries it. There’s a quiet intensity to his performance that never feels forced, and he brings a lot of depth without overdoing anything. You can tell he fully understood the role. It’s not perfect and slows down a bit in places, but the performances—especially his—make it easy to stay invested. Thoughtful, well made, and definitely worth revisiting.
