ごく普通の平凡な女性ルーシーは、訪れた台北のホテルでマフィアの闇取引に巻き込まれ、下腹部にCPH4という新種の麻薬が入った袋を埋め込まれてしまう。この麻薬は通常10%までしか活用できない人間の脳の潜在能力を極限まで高めることができる恐ろしいものだった。運び屋として体内の麻薬と共に移動するよう命じられたルーシーだったが、麻薬を狙うマフィアに捕まってしまう。ルーシーは激しい拷問を受けるが、その拍子に体内の袋が破れ、彼女の脳は麻薬の力で覚醒し、超人的な力を発揮してその場から脱出する。

    Nice idea but gets too far fetched towards the end. For a similar movie with way better execution watch "Limitless" with Bradley Cooper.

    The movie is fast, looks amazing, and kept me hooked the entire time with its wild ideas about what the human brain can do. It’s a fun, trippy ride that doesn't slow down.

    I like a good mind stimulating sci fi action movie. However Lucy is cut short way to quick. We needed a trilogy.

    It's entertaining. The voiceovers and cuts to nature scenes are too on the nose and distracting and obvious. Morgan Freeman is really calling it in. The no reason to sympathize with the main character because her personality is gone on the first 20 minutes. The motives of the bad guys are unclear. It's like they made a movie and forgot to put in the plot.

    There is the concept of a good movie in this. The whole premise is interesting, but the whole Asian Mafia thing just feels forced in to add pointless drama to what is otherwise a cool idea. This didn't need to be an action movie.
