- Doc Worm2026年3月1日Tight and light. Bob Byington’s whip quick script is what makes this worth watching. Dialogue reminiscent to classic Hal Hartley or Diablo Cody delivered by a schlubby David Krumholtz and a stacked supporting cast who all aptly play their parts. Quite funny but not in a way that make you laugh at loud just it way that makes you think ‘oh how clever’. Atrocious camera work with minimal stabilization and what must have been free hand tracking. Some of the cuts made me constantly consider if the two actors were even in the same room. For the most part this wasn’t a distraction until I determined that Krumholtz and Jocelyn Deboer have the zero on screen chemistry and make for the most unbelievable on screen affair this side of the 21st century. Beyond these minor technical misgivings, if you are looking for a sensible chuckle Lousy Carter has it.
