ある日、ドレッドは身に覚えのない殺人罪で逮捕されるが、それはその後に明かされる陰謀の序章に過ぎなかった。
- Zokkiie2026年4月7日Honestly, it never fully comes together. There are bits that feel like they’re building toward something interesting, but it keeps slipping away before anything really lands. The whole thing feels a little disjointed, like it’s not sure what tone it wants to stick with. It’s not bad enough to hate, but not engaging enough to care much either. Kind of just exists in that middle zone and then fades pretty quickly after it’s over.
- ርልዪረ2026年3月24日Based on the British Judge Dredd comics, the film is a promising eighties action and science fiction work with good action scenes and great special effects. In the visual aspect and in the production, the film respects the aspect of the comics due to its futuristic and cyberpunk world. What has made it critical is its way of capturing the context of the world of comics. The original material was aimed at an adult audience and the film was originally going to be for adults as well, but it suffered many cuts. Firstly, it was so that it would not have an NC-17 rating and secondly because the studio and Stallone wanted a film for children under 13. Stallone wanted to repeat what was done with Demolition Man and that caused disagreements between him and the director . Danny Cannon wanted to be fairly faithful to the comics, but the cuts meant that a lot of interesting material was lost. At least they managed to preserve the look of Judge Dredd's world and the characters' costumes. Stallone was a good choice for the character because he has the seriousness of it. The thing is that Dredd's lore was changed a little here, making him feel like a somewhat different character than the one in the comics. One of those differences is that here Dredd shows his face in the movie, but in the comics what he looks like is never known and he is more mysterious. Rob Schneider has also been tried, but he is good comic relief. Additionally, Rob was injured twice on set and his commitment to the film is something to be admired. What should also be appreciated about this film is its way of showing that even the justice system itself has its errors and that the law is not always as correct as we think. Although Judge Dredd is a quite questioned adaptation, it is still a great film from the 80s where Sylvester Stallone continues to be the action hero that we love so much.
- tellum2025年12月18日This is a movie I used to watch on cable a bunch because of how funny bad it was, but watching as an adult the flaws are so much more glaring. The first and second acts are just typical run of the mill action trope nonsense, decent enough visuals but very campy and overacted. Then the third act turns a corner, directly into a brick wall. Every character motivation is completely stupid, especially the villains who contradict themselves to the point of invalidating the plot. The final action scenes are so poor it looked like the actors just had to choreograph themselves, and the resolution is unsatisfying to say the least. It’s a testament to Karl Urban for knowing this existed and deciding to give his all to salvage the franchise.
- Spanktacular2025年6月12日First off, we need a Schneider Cut where the inane cliche antics of Rob Schneider are edited out. Do that, and it becomes a 4 star cult classic. And imagine Stallone is wearing the damned helmet in the second half. Way more fun than expected, given the universal hatred. I get the criticism, but it's a relaxing action flick with great set design and the costume is designed by Versace, so you get what you get.
- jagdeep52025年5月30日As I get older, I appreciate the simplicity of message in this movie. It's now 30 years old yet the tension between difficult good versus indulgent bad is everlasting. It's corney at times but full of morality. I will watch this with my kids when they're old enough and ask them to pay attention closely.
