事故によって、愛する夫と身ごもっていた子供が亡くなってしまったジェサベル。絶望に打ちひしがれる中、彼女は父が暮らしている家へと戻る。亡き母が自分のためにと残していたビデオテープを見つけ、それを再生しては母娘の懐かしくて楽しい思い出に浸っていたジェサベル。しかし、ビデオ内で母が予言していた不吉な出来事が実際に起こるようになる。次第に恐怖に駆られていく彼女だったが、その原因として過去のある事件が浮かび上がってきて……。

- CharlotteCOSMIC2025年6月29日Rather mediocre but with some decent enough twists and turn to keep the entertainment paced. Though, very dissatisfactory that there was no good ending, just a last ditch attempt to keep some unnecessary notion of mystery. In regards to such movie genres, the notion of a spirit roaming free from a dead body only to possess a living body is obviously impossible (theoretically) because a living body would still have it's own spirit. And if even to ponder about such magic, then of course a living body or dead body could easier reject any spirit that isn't its own. Hence why movies such as this movie are quite sloppy of its own plot and point. Potential spoiler, the name Jessabelle was what the wife actually considered of herself..
