- Ricardo Arnaz CPA, ACCA USN-retired2026年4月9日Loosely based on the Doolittle Raid bombing over Tokyo where a B-25 heavy bomber squad flew off an aircraft carrier, USS Hornet to bomb Tokyo. The pilots did minimum damage unlike the movie but it was a severe psychological blow to Japan as they were vunerable. The pilots had to ditch their planes over China and out of 80 crew 69 survived the war. Movie really loosely based on and mostly fictionalized. It is entertaining but there's a lot of mistakes in it for Hollywood got lazy with details with pre-WW2 or Vietnam era military hardware and styles used in the movie. 10 years too late or 20 years too early.
