The story is really good, grips you throughout and is carried along at a good pace. It is not a film that over dwells on the 'marvels' of the technology or the beaty of shots as some sci-fi films do. Although it is well shot and the CGI is great. You are easily convinced with the world that is displayed. That robots are a fully acepted and trusted part of this world's daily life. As it was filmed as a detective story, you only really learn what Will Smith discovers, which really works as a story device. The robot Sunny and in particular the portrayal of his facial expressions help make the film. The robots are definitely not just men in suits.
