ヘル・レイザー
監督:Clive Barker兄嫁と不倫に耽り、荒んだ生活を送っていたフランク・コットン。組替えにより究極の性官能を味わう事のできる伝説のパズルボックスを手に入れるが人知れず行方不明となってしまう。フランクの失踪後、兄ラリーは家族と共に空き家となっていたフランクの家へ引っ越してくる。引越し作業中、ラリーは手に傷を追うがその滴り落ちた一滴の血により異形の地獄から肉達磨のような姿に変わり果てたフランクが蘇る。彼はパズルボックスの力で快楽の奈落に囚われていたがラリーの血によって現世へ復活することができたのだった。しかし完全に人間に戻るには生贄の血が足らない。そこでかつて不倫関係にあった兄嫁ジュリアを再びたぶらかし、次々と生贄を家に呼び込みその血を奪い取る。ジュリアの不審な行動を怪しんだ娘のカースティは、飛び込んだ部屋にいる皮膚のない恐ろしいフランクとジュリアのたくらみを知り、パズルボックスを奪って逃げる。逃げた先で興味本位からパズルボックスを組替えてしまったカースティの前に突如として魔界が繋がり、そこから恐ろしい形相の魔導師が現れカースティを苦痛と快楽の地獄に引き込もうとする・・・

- tellum2025年8月19日Classic horror movie that blends a slasher with cosmic horror, and the acting and story telling is surprisingly good. Stylized film making for the time and the aesthetic of the cenobites still holds up. My only criticism is the ending is rushed and could have been constructed better, but still ends in a pretty cool way.
