- dodgyroge74@yahoo.co.uk5日前The intro between segments is a bit naff, the first story goes nowhere, but the second story is brilliant, the third was ok, the fourth was good and the fifth (and final) was kinda ok. But well worth watching just for the second segment.
- jackmeat2025年8月11日My quick rating - 3.8/10. I have no idea why this Anthology flick was sitting on my Radarr for so long.. Very much NOT worth it. Each story is tied to a woman who narrates this as she explains the mystical crystals that she uses in her craft. Each one has a different purpose, and each story demonstrates that you'd better be sure about what your intentions are. You really needn't worry too much about her since this isn't one that has a tie-in for each story. She just presents them. And each one has a tendency to have no end to it. That was my first gripe. The second is that 4/5 of them were plain bad. Only one story really was worth seeing out of them, and that was the one that was subtitled. So if you are one who won't read your stuff, you will end up skipping the only decent story in this mess. That story has a young girl who is trying to figure out the nature of a haunting in her house. The tension in this one is built well, and the girl does a good job in her role. Getting kid actors done right in horror is essential and always adds to just how creepy it is. So in this, she must confront the demon that is tormenting her, along with the real-life abuse she is incurring. Safe to say most of the points come from that. There is also an absurdly bad tale of a woman who wants to right her wrongs and takes in a stray cat. Only to be viciously attacked by it. Animal lovers will freak when they see the cat get slammed into the ground. Might have been for shock value. A boring story about a woman who wants more luck in playing bridge. Snoozefest with no ending. The new criminal penalty being served on an inmate is just their chance to take a shot at the body horror subgenre. Think it was a short story in the first place, and either way, not very entertaining with a predictable ending. The other actually was mildly amusing, teaching a mother/son team not to take their jokes too far. That is it in a nutshell.
