Elmar Kern doesn't like change. After the death of his wife, the 69-year-old lacks any drive to start over. But that is exactly what Marlene foresaw - and came up with something for him while he was alive to get him out of his comfort zone of grief: a dog as a loyal companion and a detailed program that she posthumously gave Elmar in recorded video messages.
