- Hugues Grelier2026年2月4日one of my favorite Freddy ;) So many call death
- Zokkiie2025年9月20日By this point, Freddy’s more stand-up comedian than boogeyman. The kills are cartoony, the story is flat, and the “final” send-off feels more like a parody than a scare. A disappointing low point for the series.
- flavo432025年12月13日Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare attempts to close out the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, but instead of delivering a satisfying finale, it collapses under a convoluted and misguided script. The film tries far too hard to reinvent Freddy Krueger by introducing an extended tragic backstory, an unnecessary move that misunderstands why audiences embraced the character in the first place. Freddy was never meant to be sympathetic; his appeal lay in his cruelty, dark humour, and surreal menace. Rather than leaning into that strength, the movie opts for gimmicks, over-the-top cartoonish set pieces, and a plot that feels desperate to escalate stakes without coherence. The inclusion of celebrity cameos feels more like a distraction than a celebration, further cheapening what was meant to be a franchise send-off. While longtime fans may find moments of nostalgic amusement, Freddy’s Dead ultimately fails as a conclusion. Instead of a nightmare-worthy finale, it feels more like the series quietly tripping over itself on the way out.
- Callum2025年11月14日⭐⭐⭐ – Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare – When the Joke Finally Overtakes the Fear By the time Freddy’s Dead rolls around, Freddy Krueger has gone full stand-up villain — all punchlines, winks, and cartoon physics. The menace that defined the early films has all but evaporated, replaced with outlandish kills and a tone that borders on self-parody. It’s not unwatchable, but it’s definitely the point where the franchise slips from horror into a kind of surreal, comic-book chaos. There are still small pleasures for long-time fans. The film ties up bits of the mythology, gives Freddy a kind of personal history closure, and drops in a few moments that feel like affectionate nods to where the series began. And yes, seeing a very young Breckin Meyer is a fun surprise — he’d go on to have a solid career, even if “Hollywood powerhouse” isn’t quite the phrase anyone would use. But the scares are gone. The story is flat. And the “final” send-off feels like an exaggeration of everything the franchise used to keep in check. Freddy isn’t hunting so much as performing, and the sense of dread that once followed his name is nowhere to be found. It’s an entry completists will watch, probably shrug through, and then move past without a second thought. Forgettable, but not quite terrible — just the moment the series finally tipped too far into its own absurdity. 🥤 Pairing: A novelty soda — sweet, silly, and fun once, but not something you’d reach for again.
- Tyler S2025年10月19日What seems to be the most hated of the series is actually for whatever reason the one I'd see on TV as a kid all the time. All the kills are ingrained in my memory from those formative years. Now I'm sure for me nostalgia plays a part in my enjoyment of Freddy's Dead (this is by far the worst make-up job for Freddy in the series, zero effort applied) but for all it's problems I'm just never bored over it's brisk 90 minute runtime. Plus somehow they landed Yaphet Kotto in a small role which makes any movie instantly better. 👍 6/10
- MR_BigTime2025年10月8日It's all been said about Freddy's Dead: the Final Nightmare. I will only add that not even the music redeemed it.
- ርልዪረ2025年9月27日Freddy’s Dead is a film that really just disappointed fans everywhere. There is so much scenes filled with unfunny gags, scenes that don’t make sense to me. It’s a disrespect to cinema and especially Freddy. No humor in here works at all. And it feels like I’m watching a loony tunes cartoon characters. Freddy was someone you feared once and now is someone you can’t take seriously at all. It introduces you to the worst characters. Nothing about this film is something u can take seriously, weather it’s the wizard of OZ parade or playing Spencer like video game. The only thing I like about the film is going deeper into Freddy’s backstory other than that this movie to me is garbage.
