監督:Christopher Nolan作家志望の男ビルは、創作のヒントを得るため、通りすがりの人々のあとをつける行為を繰り返していた。ある日、ビルがいつものように男をつけていると、尾行していることがその男、コッブにバレてしまう。だが、コッブもまた、他人のアパートに不法に侵入し、私生活を覗き見る行為に取りつかれていた。ビルは次第にコッブに感化されていく。数日後、ビルはコッブと二人で侵入したアパートで見た写真の女性に興味を抱く。やがて、彼女の尾行を始めるビルだったが、その日を境に、彼は思わぬ事件に巻き込まれていく……。

- cyberbillp2025年8月2日It's Christopher Nolans first film and was made for about $10k. While it's interesting to see how he did on his first outing (surprisingly well), it's still a low budget b&w thriller. So unless you are a Nolan completist, watch one of his later films
- Kevin Ward2025年7月2日The nonlinear story telling here effectively weave some narrative twists into this noir-ish tale. Really enjoyed seeing the genesis of some of Nolan’s filmmaking hallmarks. It’s a little slow at the start playing out seemingly in linear fashion. It’s when Nolan reveals that this is a nonlinear story, that I became totally engrossed. The main character’s hair length changes, bruises appear on his face, we start to witness events that were alluded to in the past tense in previous scenes. Putting the puzzle together makes for a really engaging watch even if it’s not thematically rich. Worth checking out, especially for fans of Nolan’s other films, plus it’s a breezy 70 minutes.
