- Q_Prof2026年5月11日This was a gritty raw sci-fi of how a bad future of corporate power and the people unfairly suffer until one destined special man is put in a position to do the right thing for the people suffering, to attempt to make it a better world. Matt Damon plays the part really well and hits home on the emotion, story line and direction. The rest of the crew in this movie on both the good and bad, do a great job bringing this story character and depth.
- ApocMora2026年3月30日Neat movie. I liked seeing a lot of the tech concepts shown, and the implications they may have. Most of the combat and events are super 'Hollywoodized' which tends to be wasted on me, especially shaky camera work and audio levels being all over the place at times (generally the audio balance was good). For sure a bit more brutal and grimdark than I tend to prefer as well.

The plot is predictable, and its heavy-handed approach to social commentary leaves little room for nuance. Character development also feels rushed, making it hard to connect with some of the key players. Despite its narrative shortcomings, "Elysium" remains an entertaining sci-fi action film with impressive visuals and strong performances. It may not fully realize its thought-provoking potential, but it's still worth a watch for fans of the genre.
