- vangh115時間前Steven Spielberg makes the mistake of thinking a thesis and a big budget are enough to make a good movie. When this thing opened, I literally thought we were watching a movie within the movie it was so overshot and overwrought. Too many scenes are shot like stark lighting and a big score can be complete substitutes for any actual meaning or emotional resonance. And why do so many of the suspense and action sequences play out like I'm watching someone on Twitch trying a Grand Theft Auto mission for the first time? He's sneaking around secret agents by squat running directly at them, and they don't notice as long as they're turned the other way. Then his big car theft gets jammed up in the trees before he knocks over all the breakable obstacles. And when they send the car off the cliff and hide around One Big Rock while they let their star rating clear and then scurry off, again, 2 feet away from their pursuers, without drawing the awareness cone. And why is the invisible party action sequence shot like Home Alone? Why are we all of a sudden trying for 6 year old target audience slapstick?!? The overall idea has a ton of potential, and is well enough meaning, but the small details just don't line up or do enough to create any depth or actual excitement. And having the movie make it painfully clear multiple times that the one agent is absolutely willing to go rogue and do whatever it takes to kill them, just to have him frown and storm off as your big finish? What the heck even is that? He's literally fired openly at them before. I still absolutely love Stevie, but it's becoming clearer and clearer that all of his best work is officially 2 decades gone, and it breaks my heart to realize it.
- CWMulherin2026年7月3日It was a typical Spielberg movie. I’ve never seen so many people staring in amazement with that blank look on their faces other than the other Spielberg movie Close Encounters. Blunt added some nice dry comic relief, story was a bit like the movie Inception where you really had to pay attention and follow it. It had layers that just kept getting peeled back as the movie progressed. All in all it was a mediocre Si-fi movie that took up my time because I had nothing else to do and I wanted to check it out because of the Spielberg hype.

From the very beginning, it pulls you into an atmosphere of mystery, tension, and emotion that never lets go. The story is well crafted, the cinematography is stunning, and it stays with you long after the credits roll. If you enjoy intelligent sci-fi and suspenseful thrillers, this is definitely a must-watch.
- Carter2026年6月23日Disclosure Day was unfortunately a let down for me but still an enjoyable film. Positives: - The movie is well made, well directed, well shot, well edited, and well paced - The movie visually looks really good - The set pieces look and are great - The action sequences are intense and executed very well - The cast all do an amazing job and deliver fantastic performances - The ending and the entire third act is also really cool Negatives: - The movie came off feeling generic and simple - The movie felt like a movie I have seen before just done in a different way - I don’t like the message put into the film - I don’t like the usage of aliens - The plot is extremely simple with not really any uniqueness added into it Overall Disclosure Day is still a good movie but I was severely disappointed with it.
- Nick2026年6月21日Spielberg still has it. Blunt delivers a career-best turn as a meteorologist whose encounters spiral into a paranoid conspiracy chase that splits the difference between Minority Report and Close Encounters. Williams' score soars, the blocking is gorgeous, and the back half genuinely got me. Loses half a star for a baggy script and a finale that pushes too hard for tears. Still one of his best in years.
- Rick2026年6月11日I really feel like what this movie needed to elevate it to great is a few more scenes of government agents swarming a location from all directions in unmarked black cars. Maybe I’m just a bit of a pessimist, but I think the way Spielberg and I think everyone, near and far, would react during the last 10-15 minutes is very different.
