    This film is a fantasy tale that, in my opinion, is a decent one time watch with pretty good CGI work. I’m generally not a fan of Netflix Original movies, as streaming platform originals often feel like cheap copies of major box office hits; you could definitely say this film draws inspiration from Game of Thrones. Still, Millie Bobby Brown looks great in the role and does a good job holding the film together. 3.5/5 🐉⚔️

    I really enjoyed this more than I thought I would. A fun twist on a familiar tale, some great effects, and Millie Bobby Brown does a great job! I also thought Robin Wright was awesome! I was thoroughly engaged throughout!

    Decent film I don't get the negative reviews, typical corny Netflix film but decent fantasy story, cool dragon design and voice.

    A thrilling fable where the ruling elite pit dragons and people against each other to keep power. Elodie, betrayed and meant to die, becomes a beacon of love and unity. Exposing the true parasites, she shows that only together can we break the chains and reclaim a future of hope.

    Don’t understand the bad reviews on this movie. Sure it feels like a cheaper version of game of thrones but it is still a pretty decent watch. The dragon CGI was amazing.

    Anytime I see Millie Bobby Brown or Finn Wolfhard, et al in anything, I’m reminded that Stranger Things somehow still hasn’t concluded yet. I didn’t like this all that much, but I have to recognize that my wife and kids enjoyed it quite a bit. I felt like the first hour dragged incredibly. Robin Wright and Angela Bassett are remarkable casting choices but they feel mostly wasted. Love Shohreh Aghdashloo, is similarly an inspired casting choice. Iconic voice is a perfect fit for the dragon. Decent family movie night movie, but not one I really care to ever watch again.

    The moment I saw Shohreh Aghdashloo in the opening credits, I knew there was only one role she could be playing and I wasn't disappointed ❤️
