転校先の学校になじめず、孤独な毎日を過ごしていたシュン。だが同級生の杏奈だけはそんな彼を気に掛けていた。そんなある日、2人は学校の仲間たちに連れられ、化け物が出るという噂の不気味な洋館“ジェイルハウス”に足を踏み入れることになる。だが、なぜか館に入ったとたん扉が固く閉ざされてしまい、シュンと杏奈、そして仲間たちは閉じ込められてしまったことを知る。やがて恐怖に駆られる彼らの後ろに青い影が現れる。

If this is based on a game Ao Oni, I couldn't imagine the opening chapter to gameplay being so uneven, but in from the Cpu and Commodore generation with Pong and Tank or Battle Tanks. Damn, I'm blown away by what it all meant and the story is starting to make me feel anxious, I'm twitching with excitement and only hope it can carry through. As a viewer of film and series, I really can't read more than a few sentences of reviews that tell the actual story or repeat the dialog of scenes rather than explain how it made you think and feel, so please excuse my lack of details in my review. They have set the atmosphere and now little hints of Terror are slowly being dropped here and there, so as to hint at bodily sheer terror for our characters so are at the mercy of the story. I think this might be a tie-in with an anime series i watched a while ago of the same name as the game Ao Oni, so fair warning we are not watching a purely haunted story but some type of magical or paranormal entity with an immense power I've not see to often. Okay so the film is at a really nice pace with only moments of showing to give us a bit of back story or to slow or characters a brief second to catch what may berry well be their last. Ma'am i do love a bizarrely and twisted to my liking hauntingly happy ending. The movie is actually rather fun and I'm going hunting for this game and will talk to my gamer children if this is still playable.
