When a legendary director-actor duo behind classics like Hera Pheri and Bhool Bhulaiyaa reunites just for a lazy payday, it is the ultimate disappointment especially when it drags on for a painful three hours. A soulless, boring cash grab! The classic Priyadarshan charm is completely gone, and it seems we won't be seeing that magic again anytime soon. The story is incredibly weak, compounded by below average acting and lackluster direction. The entire cast looks completely aged out. As one of the producers, Akshay Kumar tries desperately hard to make the material work, but he fails miserably. The CGI and green screen stages look completely artificial; absolutely everything in this movie feels fake. It is disappointing to see a director who was once known for simplicity and realism completely sell out to the lazy, over the top formula often seen in generic South Indian mass cinema. It was a massive disappointment and a complete waste of three hours.
