    ​I usually expect good things from Disney, but Better Nate Than Never was genuinely great. It’s aimed at kids and teens, but it did what so many movies fail to do: it made me forget about my problems and it let me root for the underdog. ​The acting and singing are spot-on, and the casting perfect—nothing is out of place. It’s also rare to find a movie with such a strong, inclusive message of acceptance that doesn’t feel forced or preachy. It just feels natural. ​If you need to escape reality and feel like a kid again, give this a watch. It’s a solid reminder that sometimes the "kids' movies" are the ones that understand us best.
