- Manuel Frangis2025年3月31日I just watched Anger Management, and I give it 5 out of 5 stars. This movie is hilarious, wild, and packed with some of the funniest scenes I have seen in any Adam Sandler movie. It pairs Sandler with Jack Nicholson, and the two of them together are absolutely perfect. Their chemistry is what makes the whole thing work. From start to finish, it is loud, unpredictable, and totally entertaining. The setup is simple, but it works so well. Adam Sandler plays Dave, a quiet guy who gets thrown into anger management therapy after a misunderstanding on a plane. That is when Jack Nicholson shows up as Dr. Buddy Rydell, the most intense and ridiculous anger management coach ever. What follows is a series of totally chaotic situations where Buddy pushes Dave way out of his comfort zone and into all kinds of trouble. Sandler plays the straight man for most of the movie, and it is fun to see him in that role. He is holding it all in, trying to stay calm, but you can see the frustration building with every scene. When he finally snaps or lets loose, it makes the payoff even better. It is a great change of pace from his usual loud and goofy characters. Jack Nicholson, though, steals every scene he is in. His character is so unpredictable that you never know what he is going to say or do next. One minute he seems helpful, the next he is completely messing with Dave’s life, and it is so funny to watch. Nicholson plays it so well, switching from calm and serious to totally unhinged in a second. He brings this wild energy to the movie that makes it impossible to look away. The humor in this movie is nonstop. It mixes awkward moments, slapstick, and really clever lines that hit hard. Some of the scenes are so out there that you just have to laugh, even when you are thinking, what am I even watching right now. That is part of the fun. It keeps you off balance the whole time, and that makes the jokes land even harder. The supporting cast is great too. You have Marisa Tomei as Dave’s girlfriend, and she adds a nice touch of heart to the story. Then you have a bunch of wild characters in the anger management group, each more ridiculous than the last. There are also some amazing cameos I will not spoil, but they take the movie to another level. Every character adds something, and no scene feels wasted. What I like most is how the movie does not slow down. The pacing is fast, every scene builds on the last, and it always finds a new way to surprise you. Whether it is a public meltdown, a random sing along, or a full-blown confrontation, it never lets up. I give Anger Management 5 out of 5 stars because it is a perfect mix of smart comedy, wild situations, and great performances. It is one of those comedies you can watch over and over again and still laugh just as hard each time. Overall Anger Management is a hilarious and chaotic comedy that brings together two powerhouse actors and lets them go crazy in the best way. If you want to laugh, feel secondhand embarrassment, and see Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson go at it, this movie delivers everything you want.
