Waiting for news Andy and Errol exchange philosophies and Errol is forced to confess why his wrist is bandaged. It is long wait for all of them before they learn how Sam has fared.

With the help of Errol's classmates Andy tracks Melodie down but it is not necessarily the case that they will live happily ever after.

The Last AssemblyAs Sam learns that she is in remission Andy is given the chance to join a group on a European tour, which is a great success Gwen's boyfriend Casper acting as roadie and Errol coming to see him in Edinburgh. Returning from the tour Andy now has enough money to get his own place, with Errol, who has formed a band of his own, taking his place in the basement flat.
