Although it's a teenage romance it also shows adult relationships, like the two mums and it also touches on some heavier subjects. It's well-made, it has great scenery, a fitting soundtrack, great acting and overall production keeps getting better and better with the seasons. If you love drama, romance, bad decisions and summer you're going to enjoy this.

The needle drops did so much heavy lifting — a song would come in and the whole scene would just crack open. Which makes right now the perfect time to revisit the salt air of Cousins. Team Conrad. Team Jeremiah. Team Belly-Deserves-Better. I stand by every position I held and I love seeing books I adored in middle school become these great TV stories.
