- TheFullTimer2 gg faAn enjoyable examination of uncommon friendships that form during/after a shared life experience. The series is rather direct with many aspects of the world and premise, but doing so provides ample space to explore the humanity behind the facade. More so than many post-2020 contemporaries, it respects that we each navigate difficulties with our own emotional compass, and may reach different ends. If you enjoyed the themes of ADC, I recommend these similar shows: Bee and PuppyCat (2013, 2022) Over the Garden Wall (2014) Infinity Train (2019) Yolo (2020)
- Thomas Barton21 agosto 2025I gotta say, I love this show. The Amazing Digital Circus is totally unique — it’s not meant to be your usual straight-line story with a beginning, middle, and end. The whole point is that it’s a world of endless possibilities, where anything can happen at any time. That mix of silly cartoon chaos and deep, existential “what even is reality?” vibes is exactly what makes it special. Some people complain they “forced” themselves to watch it — and honestly, if it’s not your thing, that’s fine. Nobody’s saying everyone has to love it. But don’t act like it’s bad just because it’s not built like the shows you’re used to. It’s supposed to be weird. It’s supposed to feel unpredictable. That’s the charm. For me, the fights were hilarious, the team gun adventure had me crying laughing 😂, and the character interactions are pure gold. On top of that, the animation quality is insane for an indie project — you can really tell the creators put their heart and soul into it. So yeah, this show isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. But if you’re into dark humor, trippy worlds, and creativity that doesn’t play it safe, give it a real shot. For me, it’s 5/5 all the way.
- Davey’s Wonderful World4 gg faOne of the greatest independent animated shows of all time. When I saw that the first episode of the show got over 100 million views in like three days I think I was a little skeptical of it as it looked very peculiar however, I decided to go in with an open mind and check it out regardless and man did it win me over fast and then I just kept coming back and this series has so much characters so much story and just so much depth to it that it’s immense, especially for an independent production Seriously, Disney should be taking seen notes! If you haven’t seen this series already go out and do so you won’t regret it! 9.7/10
- ᑕ∈ᖇ∈ᔕ/ᔕTEᖇᒪIᑎG6 gg faIt's hard to even find words for how much I enjoyed this show. It looked like it would be fun, but potentially too zany for my age demographic. Instead, I was treated to one of the best written shows I've ever seen with surprisingly relatable digital characters that will make you feel feel more of what happens in this show than you'd ever expect to. This one is right up there with the likes of Courage The Cowardly Dog & Invader ZIM, and may actually be even better and potentially more unique than even those shows that were the pinnacle of animation when I was growing up. It feels at least as groundbreaking as those were, if not a bit more so due to just how it genuinely surpasses both of those in quality of animation, emotional weight, character development and even their finales. Overall, I think The Amazing Digital Circus is a must watch for anyone truly interested in animation and fantastic storytelling. It may just be my pick for favorite animated show of the 2020s.
- BrightEmber7 gg faSo. I left a GIANT review on the finale, explaining how much this show means to me. Chock full of spoilers though, so don't read it unless you've watched it. I really was a casual fan pretty much until the last episode. I wasn't a superfan like many on the internet are. But I gave this show a shot, after being frightened away for a while by some of the overzealous treatment it's given online, to find out, it was nothing like I expected it to be- genuinely very enjoyable writing, characters, and in general a show more focused on meaningful interaction and character depth than on humor- despite it being ever present. I was utterly impressed by the great animation, voice acting, and characters, and while the story was engaging, it was definitely the writing of the relationships and psychological elements of the characters that pulled me in and made a fan out of me. I liked it a fair amount. Then the finale came out, and gave me an experience I will never forget, so deeply personal to me, that I can't put into words how intensely it affected me. This went from being just a show I was impressed by and liked quite a bit, to... essentially, hard not to call it my favorite show of all time... Certainly the most meaningful media I've ever engaged with in my life. It's for reasons so deeply personal to me, related to one character in particular, as well as what the message of the entire show ends up being, by the end, that it overwhelmed and made me sob so heavily. Regardless, even if my personal connection to the one character, and the meaning of the show, might not connect the same for you, it's beyond worth watching. I don't think I've ever gone into a show with less expectations, and been more consistently impressed and attached with every episode. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. If it's not for you, that's alright. But if it is... If it could end up half as meaningful to you as it ended up being to me, and affect you in even a fraction of the same way... You won't regret watching it.
- Jacob Thompson28 agosto 2025(One-sentence REVIEW REVISED AFTER SERIES FINALE: Original and edit included) Is life just a simulation? a game? Who cares, just gimme my g4n! Edit - Just completed series: The Amazing digital circus offers many questions on the facets of life through wacky adventures and confrontations; however, the ending felt rushed at times and would love if the series was 12 episodes to fully develop some ideas (Still really incredible work from an indie studio, I am glad I was there for the ride, and my rating stays a 4 out of 5). :)
- Griffin10 luglio 2025Not saying that I had huge expectations, but I was expecting a little more for this show. I like a few moments from here and there, but I just got bored. I watched the full thing today, and I forced myself to watch. I swear to god I tried to watch as much as I could, but it was just boring. I’ll give it 2 1/2, because I enjoyed moments from here and there, but I was disappointed.
